About
Henrik Pultz Melbye b. 1986 is a saxophone- and clarinet player based in Copenhagen. He is active on the international scene for experimental music with his own bands such as SVIN, Heaven and as a solo artist. He has toured extensively throughout Europe, Russia and the Balkans as well as releasing several albums as a leader, co-leader and sideman.
In 2016 he was nominated for a Danish Music Award as New Jazz Artist of the Year for his record with Henrik Pultz Melbye Trio.
He has played alongside Adam Rudolph, Nate Wooley, Bon Iver, Oh Land, and many others.
